Celebrate Baby!

This is a site that Becca White (founder of Diaper Cakes by Becca) uses to highlight her part in all those celebrations for baby. Photos of great diaper cakes and diaper wreaths. Great stories about some of the events she has gotten to take part in.

Double Shower Means Double Diaper Cakes!!

Tonight I had the pleasure of doing cakes for two baby boys that are being celebrated at the same baby shower. Baby Sanjay and Baby Jamison are each getting a three tier, diapers as icing cake. Their cakes included the great custom onesies...."So Much Love for Sanjay" and "So Much Love for Jamison". They've got wrist rattles, bibs, booties, and fun toys....and don't forget the plush topper!!

Their cakes were sampler cakes....one tier of Huggies Diapers, one tier of Pampers diapers and another tier of Just For Baby Diapers (the Babies R Us brand....). I wish I made more of these as it gives the new parents a chance to try out less expensive diapers that are still really great quality!! Each baby is shaped differently and, sometimes, the store brand diapers can even be better!!

So, enjoy the photos.....and I wish Sanjay and Jamison the very best!!

Two Great New Cakes

So I am excited about the two cakes I completed tonight. I have re-invented my Baby Einstein diaper cake and have wound up with a 4 Tier diaper cake that is a lot more colorful and true to that line of products. I am proud to have this cake front and center at a shower this upcoming weekend! I have also completed a sweet Monkey cake for a baby girl. I was contacted by a mother whose daughter wanted a diaper cake as a gift from her to the new baby. How sweet!! So I put a lot of effort into this 2Tier cake so that the little girl would have a real offering to that new cousin of hers ($65.00).

I have a great job, truly. I get to buy baby items and put them together in new ways....in ways that will make people smile and laugh and say "ooh and aah". I have a job that makes people smile. I am thankful for all of my clients that allow me to continue to do this!!

Celebrating Baby!!

Celebrating baby is, truly, one of the most positive and wonderful occasions that we will take part in. Whether you are going to a baby shower, a Meet The Baby luncheon, the hospital when baby is born or dropping off prepared meals when the family comes home....there is something infinitely wonderful about celebrating this new little one that has somehow come into your life.

All that hope and love and potential in this little package....is there anything better?

This is my first blog....and I hope to use this site to show the world the part I get to play in these celebrations for baby. I am going to highlight the cakes and wreaths that I have created for these special celebrations....and tell a tale or two about some of the wonderful celebrations I have gotten to create them for!

My name is Becca and I am the owner of Diaper Cakes by Becca. Every day people find me on the net or hear about me from other clients and they contact me to help them design that perfect centerpiece, gift or hospital door wreath. They contact me because they know that I will listen to what they want, stick to the budget they want, and create an amazing gift that they will be excited to give and the new family will be tickled to receive.

I get to take other people's ideas and turn them into a work of art....a USABLE work of art. I am a fortunate woman because I get to do this!! My business is all about celebrating baby....and my site even has a Baby Shower Guide to help the host or hostesses find a way to Celebrate Baby in a way that is distinct and memorable.

So I hope you will enjoy the blog and, perhaps, check out my site if there is a baby that YOU are wanting to celebrate in a unique and distinct way.
